Humanistic integrative counselling and psychotherapy focused on the clients unique potential
Finding Your Path to Personal Transformation
I am Dan Perrin, A BACP registered humanistic integrative psychotherapist / counsellor working from The Rutland Therapy Centre in Oakham who looks to promote self-discovery in my clients to help them to move towards reaching their potential.
I focus on self-development and growth to help individuals heal and recognise their strengths, creativity and choices in life. I see my clients as unique individuals and look to explore their relationship with the world around them.
I offer a safe, supportive space either in my clinic in the heart of Oakham or online via zoom or What’s app sessions. Clients can explore their presenting issues ultimately working towards developing their own personal growth.
Areas of Expertise
I have experience and knowledge in working with the areas of:
- Grief and Loss
- Self- Harm
- Relationship issues
- Work and study obstacles and choices
- Loneliness, relocation and adjustment
- Neglect and abuse
Being a humanistic integrative counsellor allows me to be client centred and work flexibly and creatively. My non-judgemental approach helps clients to process their thoughts and feelings. I believe that sharing your difficulties and pain with a counsellor and feeling valued and heard can facilitate healing and change. I regularly undertake CPD training, and I have particular interest in the areas of grief and trauma, reflecting my part time therapy work at The Laura Centre in Leicester.
