About Me

Finding Your Path to Personal Transformation

My counselling placement work during my training at The Sherwood Institute was focused on working with grief and older teenagers. This led to my current part time employment at The Laura Centre alongside my private practice. I find it a priviledge to work with those who have lost children or siblings and help them through their process of grief. I have 18 years of teaching experience initially with college students teaching physical education. This progressed to teaching students with learning difficulties and behavioural issues. Through my career I maintained a wish to help others and so started on the path to becoming a psychotherapist and counsellor. This was driven by a desire to help others on a more personal and deeper level.

Hobbies

My interests range from sports including gym sessions, golf and swimming to playing music at the weekends where you can often find me at local venues singing and playing my acoustic guitar.
